IDF2022-1049 Diabetes and associated factors among urban women in Burkina Faso

Diabetes mellitus is a public health problem that seriously affects the lives of women. It increases, for instance, risk heart disease by fourfold in women and twofold men. growing developing countries including Burkina Faso. Our objective was to determine proportion undiagnosed type 2 diabetes (T2DM) among adult identify their factors. This cross-sectional study female volunteers over age 18 years, recruited from 4 screening sites targeting occupational profiles whose lifestyle would be factors influencing occurence (university, market, police school nursing school).
